Nothing good that happens to us in life comes without a price. The price tag the currency if you would is a very scary price (sacrifice). You will not, not now not ever. Not even a sliver of a chance will you achieve any goal without sacrificing something.

If you want something that you never had your going to have to do something that you haven't done before. We tend to believe that the word sacrifice is sort of a midevil monster that is here to only punish us and torment our souls. We cringe when we hear the word sacrifice. We feel as if we have to give up an arm or leg or something very dear to us. Folk's I get it if we're doing something and we do it often enough to where it's at least becomes a habit. We're doing it because we want to we like it it makes us feel good generally or else we wouldn't be doing it. I'm going to use Michael Jordan as an example the greatest basketball player of all time. Michael Jordan the great was cut from his varsity basketball team in high school. He was told he wasn't good enough and that he would never make it in professional basketball. So what does Mike do. He begins to practice for 8 to 9 hours a day by the time he graduated high Jordan had shot over a million basketballs into a net. He sacrifed girls, parties, drugs he worked out in the gym for hours. Now do you thing Mike enjoyed waking up in the wee hours while it was still dark to practice basketball on his own before school and then he had practice during scho and then he would practice again when he got home until dark often being yelled at to eat dinner. My question to you, is in your opinion do you believe that Mike practiced so vigoursly because he enjoyed working so hard and practice all the time. The answer is fuck no he hated working so hard and all the insane work out regiments that he had to do.
But Mike understood that he had to make this great sacrifice in order to get to the level of basketball that he wanted to get to and which was to win championships. At times I've been told that I was to harsh at how I present the truth to the world. Believe folk's it's out of compassion. Every single one of us has at least one thing right now at this very moment that is holding us back from going further most people have more than one. If you would for a moment close your eyes and think what is one thing that if you were to stop doing or even start doing because leaving your comfort zone is a sacrifice. What is the one thing that you know if you were to stop or start your life would greatly improve. Now it doesn't have to be something as complex as drinking it could be something minor such as going to bed an hour earlier so you can wake up an hour earlier and add one more to your hour to your day. So go ahead and close your eyes and think what is the one thing that if you were to start doing or stop doing would improve your life. Good. Now that we have our one thing now I want you to compare it to your goal is that one thing worth letting go to reach your goal. What ever you won't sacrifice to reach your dream your dream becomes your sacrifice and that thing remains your goal.
